What was Ancient Egypt's religion's NAME and why did they abandon it?
The question is pretty to the point. I can't find the NAME of the worship of Ra, Osiris Isis Horus etc. It was a polytheistic religion except during the rein of Akhenaten. Why did they abandon it? Was there a muslim invasion or proselytizing? What happened?
