Why do protestants proselytize?

American Protestant missionaries have spread Protestantism in these once majority Catholic countries: Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guam, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela. 600,000 Catholics in Brazil are converted to Protestantism annually. If this continues, by 2022 Catholics will be a minority in Brazil. When the 2010 Haiti earthquake happened, Protestant missionaries rushed to Haiti and abducted children. What are these missionaries motives? To end Catholicism in America?
