Hypothetical question for christians?

You have a basic misunderstanding about what a christian is. We are all sinners. Nobody will be taken to Heaven because of what they do or do not do. Nobody will be left behind for that reason either. All christians will be taken, and non-christians will be left. Hopefully, some people will become christians afterwords, but I wouldn't count on that for yourself.

What's with this attitude that unless you're a Christian, just having your beliefs should be enough?

Hell they do it to other Christians! I am Catholic and have been preached to many times about how I am not going to Heaven because I am not a true Christian, excuse me? I look at it this way, my faith, my business, your faith, or lack of faith your business. I have actually found that the Atheists, and other non-Christians act more like a true Christian should act.

Not really understanding something here?

That was a great book, wasn't it? People are going to heckle, no matter what. My feeling is that if you want to go to a presentation, you should only do so if your goal is to learn. If you want to argue, skip it. The same kind of thing happens when political speakers come. Why someone would go to a vegetarian/vegan event, talk, forum, etc when they had already made up their mind, or didn't actually care about learning something is beyond me. The same should go to both sides. I would never attend a talk about crush videos because I find it disgusting and am horribly opposed. I couldn't learn anything useful from it and I feel so strongly I know that I wouldn't change my mind. So why ruin the experience for people who are actually there to learn?

Questions about morning glory seeds and LSA?

99% of morning glory seeds are treated to remove the LSA also seeds from the 80's are probally treated with all kinds of pesticides most of which will at the very least get you very sick. If you feel like going for a "trip" take them....the trip will be to the hospital. Just go and grab your self a beer or some weed do something "safer" thena packet of seeds thats probally 10+ years older then you are!!!

What should I do about my mother's proselytizing?

My mom is Catholic, and I'm a Pagan. She's known ever since I started practicing, and at first I didn't think she had a problem with it. Every once in a while though, she'll bring home tracts and Bibles and whatnot from church functions. She often has them out on a table I frequent by. At first I thought they were hers, but now I have found a tract in my bedroom. I suppose that all those tracts on the table were actually a subtle attempt to proselytize to me, and I'm extremely dense. Should I ignore it, or confront her? I'm rather upset by all this. After what I've learned about Christianity and the world, I would never choose to be a Christian.
